Waggin Trail 5k - 2008

Posted By Jacob Parks

I really enjoy taking pictures of this event. Every year there are new people and new animals. In general whenever you get a hundred dogs in one location, there’s going to be something to take a picture of. This year the weather was gorgeous, starting out cooler for the runners and warming up for the main event. Below are some pictures I liked.  I’ve posted the rest of the pictures here.

This dog cracked me up.  I was watching him as his owner was talking to another person and he was just drooling like there was no tomorrow.

This little power pup was great.  He blasted thru the course twice as his handler tried to keep up.

This little girl and her pup were in the smallest pooch contest.  They didn’t win but the look on the dogs face is priceless.

This is the winner from the smallest pooch contest.  The dog looks like a cotton ball.  Isn’t it cute?

And here is the dog that won the largest dog contest.

Peerman photos now ready for viewing

Posted By Jacob Parks

di_green__065 Diane and Thomas Peerman were wed on March 8th 2008.  The ceremony was held at New Testament Christian with the reception following at Masterson’s.  The family was great to work with even though there was over a foot of snow to be dealt with right out the front door!  Yes, this wedding was on the same day a winter storm almost shut down the whole city!

Enjoy the pictures!

Minton Wedding Photos Now Ready

Posted By Jacob Parks

di_minton092 Another fantastic wedding! The Minton couple had their wedding at the Duncan Memorial in Crestwood.  The chapel is small and intimate.  This makes for exceptional photos.  Afterwards they used the Locust Creek Community center for the reception.  Something that seemed to catch everyone’s eye at the reception was the chocolate fountain.

If your thinking of having your wedding at the Duncan Memorial, just remember there is a two hour time limit for weddings at the location.  This includes pictures afterwards!  It’s good to keep a second location in mind for other photos if you’re looking for ones which might take some setup.
